The company was originally set up in Australia by two IT veterans with more than 20 years experience in IT Sales, Marketing and Business Development in the Australian and Asian markets.

Ventures Technologies has successfully supplied Google Enterprise Search appliances to major customers in Australia such as:
- Bank of Queensland (a mid-tier bank)
- Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (an Australian Federal Government department)
- City of Sydney (local government for Australia’s largest city)
Building on its success with Google solutions in the Australian market, Ventures Technologies has now set up an operation in Singapore to service the needs of Singapore customers, as well as those in other Asian markets (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan etc).
The operation in Singapore is headed up by Jonathan Fayers who has extensive international business experience in Europe and Asia.
